Within the Food & Beverage category,the blue stamp indicates that the product is approved for use or consumption on a regular daily basis as a part of the Healthy Eating Food Pyramid. | The Yellow Kids Connect ' Extra x 2' Stamp indicates that products wearing the yellow stamp qualify as ‘extra’ or ‘snack type foods ’ and have met nutritional guidelines as better choice snack product for kids. These are foods sit outside the Healthy Eating Food Pyramid and are recommended to be consumed in moderation with no more than 2 serves of any yellowed stamped foods allowed per day. |
| For Example : Your child may eat one yellow stamped food in their lunchbox and then another yellowed stamped food as an after school snack. Blue stamped foods including fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and other products within the Healthy Food Pyramid should be consumed at all other times. |
