About Us

At Kids Connect Therapy we offer a range of specialised individual and group-based therapy services that are tailored to your child’s individual needs. We pride ourselves on providing flexible services that meet the needs of each individual family. Our therapy approach is based on the internationally renowned DIR®/Floortime™ model of intervention. Natural, play-based interactions are the key to our approach. By using children’s natural play choices, motivations and relationships, we work with families to help expand and develop children’s interaction skills so they can naturally learn language, improve attention and practice and learn social and motor skills. Our play-based therapy sessions are purposefully designed to maximize and develop a range of specific developmental skills.

Individual Occupational Therapy

Charlotte is in occupational therapy. Kerri-Anne is helping Charlotte explore new sensory experiences (shaving cream). Exploring through touch is an important part of development.

Group Sessions

Kerri-Anne and Kirsty are helping the boys to link in with each others ideas within a fun playdough activity.

Kirsty is using sounds and expression to help the boys tune in to a fun interaction. They are learning and practicing early social interaction skills such as looking, staying close to a peer and joining in.
